FINANCIAL AID RESOURCES

RESOURCE 1:  Christian Home & Bible School seeks to provide financial aid to those students in grades K-12 whose family can provide documentation of need. Student employment, academic merit scholarships and athletic awards are not offered. Our goal is to help children with financial limitations receive a Christian education, develop leadership potential, and reach their God-given dreams and aspirations. The tuition assistance program helps to achieve social and economic diversity within our school community. This goal is an integral and respected part of our school's philosophy.

Financial aid is offered as a reduction of full tuition, which is determined through an analysis of family financial need. Financial need is determined by an independent source, and all information is confidential. Current salary, net worth, assets, and debts of the parents or guardian are considered in determining the amount of financial aid given. We are not able to meet 100% of demonstrated need for each applicant, and frequently, the number of qualified applicants exceeds the financial aid resources of the school. Therefore, there is no guarantee that every qualified applicant will receive financial aid. Families are required to complete the financial aid application process each year financial assistance is needed. Awards are made on a first-come, first-served basis so it would be beneficial to families seeking financial aid to meet all financial aid deadlines. You may begin to apply for financial aid starting on November 1, 2011, as described below.

We use School and Student Services (SSS) to process financial aid applications. SSS is a service of the National Association of Independent Schools. Based on the financial information you provide, SSS gives us an estimated amount your family can contribute to educational expenses. This helps us make fair and objective financial aid decisions. The application process is self-guided. You may navigate in and out of the program allowing you to partially complete an application and go back to it at another time. A toll free helpline is provided. Please do not call the school with questions. To begin your financial aid application for the 2012-13 school year, open the instructional link below:

RESOURCE 2:  Step Up for Students is an initiative of the Florida Tax Credit (FTC) Scholarship Program. The innovative program provides K-12 education scholarships for qualifying low-income students who are entering kindergarten or first grade OR who attended public school the previous year. The scholarships give low-income parents the opportunity to choose the K-12 school that best meets their children's needs. The scholarships cover up to a projected $4,011 for private school tuition and books.
