Because of Christ’s love for us, Mount Dora Children’s Home is committed to providing a home of healing that is safe and nurturing. They are also committed to providing a loving environment and support where every child and family can discover their value and develop their giftedness.

Focus

Since 1945 children victimized by abuse, abandonment, or neglect seek our help rebuilding their lives with the support of our Christian staff.

Need

In Florida, a child is abused every five minutes and across the Southeast United States, every sixteen minutes. Due to this rising crisis in the American family, Mount Dora Children’s Home stands at the forefront prepared to help children find the security, stability, and structure needed to enjoy the same normal childhood so many of us remember fondly.
